The City of London will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20th, 2o2o.

At 10AM a children’s program will take place, followed by the photo booth at 3:30PM. At 5:15PM, a pre-march program will begin at the Laurel County Courthouse with London Mayor Troy Rudder, Laurel County Judge-Executive David Westerfield, City Councilman Daniel Carmack, and others.
The march through London downtown to the London Community Center will begin at 5:45PM, followed by the reading of the “I Have A Dream Speech”, speaker, William Isom II, Director of Black In Appalachia. An awards ceremony and dinner will follow.
