Christmas on Main is an annual celebration that takes place in downtown London, Kentucky. Each year features a different theme for the event. The 2015 theme “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” will commemorate the 26th anniversary of The Randy Christmas on Main parade and festivities. The theme aims to set the winter scene while celebrating the 26thanniversary of the event, but all holiday and Christmas themed floats are welcomed and encouraged. The more lights, the merrier!
Christmas on Main is Friday, December 4th, 2015.
Children’s Book Walk (5:30 PM)
Downtown businesses will welcome children of all ages to listen to holiday readings. Each location will read their stories at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 PM.
The Randy Smith Christmas on Main Parade (7:00 PM)
The Randy Smith Christmas on Main Parade starts at approximately 7:00 PM in downtown London. The parade begins at the intersection of 16th Street and Main Street (London Elementary School) and ends at Carnaby Square Shopping Center. The parade lasts approximately one hour.

The Laurel County Jail will be lit just as the parade passes the Laurel County Courthouse.
Tree Lighting Ceremony (Immediately after Parade)
At the conclusion of the Christmas on Main Parade, approximately 8:00 PM, a Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at The Farmer’s Market that includes a short ceremony and a chance for photos with Santa. Come enjoy this great event that features live music and Christmas festivities for the whole family!
